bad night caused problems

Bethany had such a bad night last night she was up scratching herself to shreds  it was just horrible having to keep pulling her arms away from her body to stop her scratching. about 2 am she managed to get to sleep but by then she was torn apart and covered in blood. this morning Bethany has woke up with infections again so we was back up the doctors for an emergency appointment. The doctors have advised me to put her back on antibiotics even though she has just come off some and change all her creams. Bethany is just sitting on the sofa looking sad and ill lots of cuddles for her today. if i could i would have this illness myself just to give my daughter her life back. its hard enough when i get an itch i have to scratch it, but bethany is itchy all day and all night i cant even imagine how hard that must be. i just want some comfort for my little princess

feeling sorry for herself

Today she is so sore and so itchy and she is feeling very sorry for herself nothing is making it better. i just wish i could take her pain away but unfortunately there is nothing i can do. every time i look at her shes scratching till her skin comes off or breaks open. its heartbreaking we just cant wait to go see the specialist at great ormond street hospital and hopefully they can help us 

itchy itchy itchy

on the 25th till the 28th of January  Bethany has been very itchy and sore and has now made a few open wounds on her arms and her chin that are getting infected. so she will be back on anti biotics soon enough. she is not sleeping properly due to being in so much pain. she strips of and just scratches and hurts herself more. its such a vicious circle i just wish some one could help my little princess

finally we can get some answers

on the 23th of January I saw a dermatology nurse yesterday and we discussed all of Bethany's problems in detail. i found it so helpful to have some one listen and understand what me, Bethany and my son go through on a day to day basis. She seemed to want to help me fight for answers and that's what i like. Bethany s dermatologist has decided to refer her to great ormond street children s hospital as its the leading London pediatric hospital with all different types of specialists to try get us the answers we so desperately need. couldn't be happier at the moment. very positive thinking

one minute she was fine then she had a reaction

on the 21st of January Bethany was fine all day then a reaction came out the blue. we was hoping it was gonna be a good day but unfortunately not :(

major skin reaction

last night Bethany had a major skin reaction which made her skin all red and sore. she was very itchy and had to have her tubi fast garments on her. Bethany reacts to so much her body takes on so much. She never has anything she is allergic too but it is hard too keep her away from heat and uv rays as they are out in most different weathers and seasons

Bethany has really enjoyed herself playing with the snow. Bethany cant play out in the sun so snow is ideal for her 

more allergies

We have received Bethany's allergy tests back she is board-a-line allergic too wheat and allergic to penicillin as well as all the allergies she has already got which are egg,soya,milk,fish,latex poor princess its just never ending. im not even sure what Bethany can really eat now there is so much that she cant. 

change within an hour

its amazing too see how bethany's skin can change in just an hour. we took the first photo just before we went too playgroup and the other picture was about an hour later. her skin is just so unpredictable its up and down all the time and she has a life just full of pain

Bethany was not very good on the 15th she burnt pretty bad and was so sore.

Bethany has not been very well since nursery today very sleepy , very itchy and her skin is burning to touch and turning very rashy. I just want my princess to have some comfort.

going down hill

Tonight due to bethany having a nap and it getting slightly warmer in here and as your body does when you sleep shes had a bad heat reaction. She is crying and screaming and so itchy that she just cant help herself. Its so heartbreaking

on the 10th of January 2013 Bethany has been so itchy has torn her feet apart and is covered in a rash

Unfortunately Bethany is a very sore and itchy little girl tonight. her skin is pin pricking and she is just so agitated. wish i could take the pain so she would not suffer any more :(

Trip too the specialist and got some more answers

Went to dermatologist this morning her fingers are still really bad shes got two different steroids and another moisturizer too use for a month. She is still on anti biotics and had some of her allergy information back she is severely allergic too cats and dogs and her mixed food group allergy test was very high. They are now splitting the results too all the different food groups too tell me more specifically. She is already allergic too egg, milk,soya, fish and latex that i know off and we are still waiting for her penicillin allergy results 

More allergy testing

Bethany had yet another blood test today for more allergy testing. finally they managed to get blood out of her must have been third time lucky. she didn't like it what so ever because she knows what to expect. at least now we can find out if shes allergic to penicillian

Doctors where not a great help!

Have been to the doctors this morning and unfortunately he was not very helpful. i have been in contact with her specialist who has advised me to change her steroid and use it more frequently until we see them next week.
